Classes focus on teaching balance, strength, proprioception, and kinesthesia.
This focus increases self confidence and self respect, in addition to the physical skills.

Classes for kids in traditional Japanese Ju Jitsu. Students in these classes learn techniques that include, striking, rolling and falling, throwing, joint locking, ground holding, strangulation and lots of self-defense. Through the medium of self defense techniques, students learn to respect their partners, and themselves, learning always that we are defenders, not fighters..

Classes for adults in traditional Japanese Ju Jitsu. Students in these classes learn techniques that include, striking, rolling and falling, throwing, joint locking, ground fighting, restraint, strangulation and lots and lots of self-defense every class. Goshin Jitsu (self defense) for beginners start with categories of defense against attacks that include, punch, chest push, grips on garments and wrist grabs. Intermediate students continue to learn more throws, locks, holds, and the integration of those techniques into new and more complex self defense categories. Learning now to defend against both empty handed attacks and stick and knife attacks. Intermediates also begin weapons training, learning Arnis de Mano and Kali through stick training. Advanced students weapon's are cane and knife.
